I live in Fort Wayne, IN with my husband and three children. I happily worked part-time at our church for 6.5 years, then embarked on a new journey in October 2013 to be a substitute teacher, which allowed me the flexibility of having the same schedule as my children. Then in August 2015 we decided to (gasp!) homeschool!
Chad and I have been married since 1999, and with every anniversary that passes I get further confirmation that this is the man God intended for me to love all the days of my life. I am passionate about my marriage, and encouraging others in theirs.
My children are very close in age, all three were born within 29 months. So that comes with its own challenges and benefits. They were all on the same schedules early on, they’ve liked the same things at the same times, and when I’m done with one phase, I’m done for good. But when I’m in a phase I’m in it for a long time, and I’m in it over my head! I had three in diapers for eight months, I was sleep deprived for way too long, and I was always driving someone to preschool. But this is working for us. At the end of a phase I can look back and realize it wasn’t so bad. I think God uses that to let me encourage other moms with children close in age.

I know that I have had days like that. I think that you handled yours a little better than I would.
You’re so gifted, Janna! Have you always enjoyed writing?
No, not even a little! With my blog, things come into my head and I need to let them out! 🙂 Thank you for your comment, I appreciate it!
