Me: How was school today?
Ada: I only want to tell you on Fridays.
Me: Can you tell me one thing?
Ada: (sigh) We had art class.
Me: With Miss Jenny?
Ada: Yes, and Sam.  He’s a guest.  He’s adorable.

Eli: There’s a bird on that electric wire!  I sure hope it doesn’t poop.
